8 Healthy Habits to Help You Hit Your Goals

8 Healthy Habits to Help You Hit Your Goals

So why are you struggling with the goals you set?
Well, because time is just not on your side.
If you believe that, then you are amongst the many who suffer with managing their time. Take it from me, I gradually grew out of the misconception that I had all the time in the world to accomplish all my goals large and small.
You do not have all the time in the world… in fact I finally discovered that I can’t start my day in my favorite coffee shop with friends chatting, and end each day with mindless television and still have time to hit my goals.
The truth is, is every minute of each day needs to be monitored by you, not that some of the time won’t be simply relaxing time, or time with family and friends or simply just doing nothing.
What I’m saying is, is that even down time is accounted for and scheduled in to your calendar.
Run your life like a business. Get BIG things done first. Keep a list of what your goals are, what you need to get done in a day, no matter how big or small the task. Nothing will come out of a non-structured no thought process schedule.

8 Healthy Habits to Help You Hit Your Goals
Don’t just kind of live your life, live a life that is meaningful, a life that is designed and executed by you.
What brings happiness? When you know what you want and you go for it. Set your intentions every day, wake up to a healthy habit of productivity and reaching the goals you set.
Not only will you feel great and accomplished, but you will be aligning with the pictures in your head of the interesting and joyous life you deserve.
Below is a list of great healthy habits to start creating your best life possible.

1. Write Down Your Goals
Figure out what you really want. It doesn’t have to be more than wanting peace in your relationships or more financial security. It can be getting in shape or finding the right partner.
What you write may change the next day, as you start to think about what it is you want you will keep re-defining that as you work on it. Work on it every Sunday making appropriate changes and adding to the list.

2. Make A Schedule Every Evening for the Following Day
Even if you are tired, do it anyway, it will pay off to develop this great habit. Write down what you need to do, what you want to do, and what you want to accomplish that will move you closer to your goals. So it can be something like…..
8am – Gym (cardio)
10am – Work on chapter for my book
12pm – Meet editor for lunch
2pm – Grocery shop
3:30pm – Answer e-mails and submit essays.
5pm – Make dinner
7pm – Walk dogs.
Remember it’s very important to do the big things that will make the most impact first. Don’t do all little things first and wait to get to it later.

3. Meditate Every Morning
This is very important as it frees your mind up from the constant chatter and helps you realize what you really want. Twenty minutes a morning will change your life and make you more clear of your aspirations.
Meditation is the way forward!

4. Push Yourself… You Can Rest Later
I get tired everyday at some point, but I push myself to reach the goals of the day. It seems to be easier as I go to get it all done. Take a 20 minute power nap it’s all you need to get a second wind.

5. Wake Up Early
I used to lay in bed till the last possible moment, now I get excited to jump up and start a productive day.
My time from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM is used to do meditation, yoga and morning prayer. I even have time to juice and make my bed before 8:00 and it has become a personal goal to fit it all in.

6. Avoid Energy Vampires
We all have people in our lives that constantly have drama and need a shoulder to cry on. Well, you have to start using different language about who you are and how valuable your time is. You cannot reach goals and play therapist to friends too.
With all respect, your time is precious and can’t just be thrown away to make everyone else happy.

7. Believe All That You Want is Available to You
Believe that the universe is conspiring with your higher self to give you all you want and much more…….Have a positive, loving outlook on who you are and what you deserve.

8. Do Affirmations
Throughout your day, starting first thing in the morning, have gratitude for the things in your life that are great. Also for everything you are accomplishing.
affirm;  what I put energy on is serving me in wonderful ways.
I am creating a life rich with positive relationships, love, health and prosperity.
I deserve all that the universe is sending my way.

In Conclusion
These are healthy habits that will push you into a whirlwind of happiness through your own actions. Don’t be hard on yourself when it doesn’t go exactly as planned, just start from the moment your in now.
