Now getting a driving license has become easier than before- the work will be done without a test- know the way
If you are thinking of getting a driving license and want to avoid the waiting period and long queues of Regional Transport Offices (RTO), then there is good news for you. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has notified the rules for the authorized Driver Training Centers. High-quality driving courses will be made available to the candidates in these recognized centers. After clearing this test, the candidate will not be required to take the driving test while obtaining the driving license.
Simulators and dedicated test track
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways says that these training centers will have simulators and dedicated driving test tracks to provide high-quality training to the candidates. The new rules will come into effect from 1 July 2021. The ministry has said that these centers will also be allowed to provide industry-specific specialized training. The ministry says that the shortage of skilled drivers is an important issue in the Indian roadways sector and a large number of accidents occur due to lack of knowledge of road regulations.
Recognition for five years Recognition for
authorized driver training centers will be for 5 years, which can be renewed. The notification states that the duration of the Light Motor Vehicle Driving course at authorized driver training centers is a maximum of 29 hours in 4 weeks from the date of commencement of the course. This course will be divided into theory and practical. At the same time, the duration of the Medium and Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving course will be 38 hours in six weeks. This course will also be divided into theory and practical.
